Joseph de la Plante has become a well known mining royalty entrepreneur, having started and sold Nomad Gold Royalties to Sandstorm within 3 years for $1-Billion. Mr. de la Plante is a personal investor in Vicunau.
One of Nomad’s largest assets was a royalty on the Caserones copper and molybdenum mine in Chile neighbouring Vicunau’s Tolita asset.
Mr. de la Plante spent time as an investment banker (mining) at BMO Capital Markets, and recently founded Evolve Strategic Royalties, the first-of-its-kind battery metals focused mining royalty company.
